Dreaming of....who knows, ask my husband.

Source
Ok, I have known for a while that I typically don't remember my dreams very often. I am certain that I have them, but only on rare occasions (the completely bizarre or horrifying nightmares) do I remember them in the morning. It wasn't until I started living with D that I realized that I talk in my sleep. I am telling you, apparently we have full conversations of incoherent nonsense. Sometimes its to the point where he used to get so frustrated that I would actually wake up, see that he was irritated and then proceed to get into a tiff at 3am over whatever stupid incoherent thing I said. It would go something like this:

Me: "Go get the sweater."
D: "What sweater?"
Me: "The one in the bathroom!"
D: "Why is it in the bathroom?"
Me: "Just get it!" Get the sweater! I need it for the project!"
D: "Why do you need it?"
Me slowly coming to: "Need what?"
D: "You asked me to get the sweater!"
Me: "Why did you wake me up!"

Then I would roll over and go back to sleep. I don't know if this is exactly how it happened, this is just what D said happened.

Recently D has figured out when I am dreaming. I remember a couple of weeks ago I woke myself up doing this. I was frantically searching for my cell phone in the bed. Why? I don't know. But I kept feeling around in the darkness on top and underneath the blankets. Under the pillows, under my husband; which woke him up. "What are you looking for?" "My cell phone." So he proceeds to help me look(feel) around for it. "Where did you put it?" "Oh, it's on the charger. Sorry." Then I rolled over and went to sleep.

I can only imagine what goes through his head when this occurs. I know for a fact that my dad says that my mom does it too. I come by it honestly. They usually only happens when I am under periods of high stress. The sweater incident happened in my final semester of college when I was planning our wedding. This last one, I couldn't tell you what was going on in my head, but I'll tell you I NEEDED that cell phone!

Anybody else have any quirky behavior that drives their significant others crazy?
