So October has been a particularly rough month in our household. Last week when D's dad asked us if we wanted to go to the Laker's last pre-season game we both jumped at the opportunity to get dolled up, have a date night and have some fun! His co-worker had season tickets that he couldn't use and we were the lucky recipients. We couldn't have had better seats! Center section on the floor 10 rows back! They were fantastic! We showed up to LA Live 2 hours before the game to have dinner at The Yardhouse. Both of us like this restaurant and while we waited for our food D sipped a beer and we watched the baseball game.
We walked around a bit and discovered some things that we need to come back and see, like The Grammy Museum and a few others. (for next years bucket list) Then it was game time! We headed into the Staples Center and walked around. I looked at the merchandise curious if anything struck me to purchase. I found a really cute tee, but at $40 I decided I could pass on it. We of course were touristy and took photos with our phone's to document everything. The new player Dwight Howard made his debut and we cheered on the home team the whole time. We got peanuts and cotton candy as well. Unfortunately, as is the curse with me, they lost in the last 30 seconds of the game! It was an exciting game none the less. Very competitive and high action. We both had such a blast and were glad to check off a couple more things off this years Bucket list!
