Doesn't everyone love a good selfie?

I am a thirty something working professional who lives in the greater Los Angeles area of California. I am married to the most wonderful man a girl could ask for, he is described on here as either D or the hubby/hubs. We have been together for over a decade (almost high school sweethearts) and in 2007 we were married surrounded by all of our wonderful family and friends. In 2008 we adopted our shelter pup Miss Shelby, a Labrador Rhodesian Ridgeback mix. She is the light of our life!

I have a degree from California State University Northridge in Interior Design and work as an Interior Designer locally. I enjoy photography, music, party planning, working out, travel, and crafting. (all types including quilting) I also enjoy reading, going to movies, and dancing. I like to be a well rounded person and enjoy being around people, experiencing all the things in the world.

My blogs are just an online diary of my life, sprinkled with a lot of DIY's and crafting, a handful of recipes, my design style, and our journey towards becoming parents. It involves everything that is going on in it, from traveling to our lives day in and out, and it is ever changing as life always is. I hope you enjoy my writing style as it is constantly changing as I try to find a style that works, but its usually humorous and light. I hope you enjoy my journey, because I am enjoying living it!
